Photographers get to skip the 1 or 2 hours of lessons in the morning (yay?) because the SC (student council) goes to St Andrew's Cathedral (SAC) early to prepare and rehearse.
The day'll go something like this...
Assembly will be about the student council too, so it might be a good thing to shoot them in their blazers and what not first (if they're assembled at the side).

Right after assembly, the SC and photographers (as well as AVA) will head to the front porch with the fountain. There, they'll assemble and wait for the bus. Shoot as many camwhore photographs here!
On the bus, you can try shooting them resting or whatever. Just -try- not to impinge on privacy I guess. Each batch is different, so there's no way of telling what they'll do on the bus. Be on the look out for visually fun stuff.

Once you arrive on location, please make sure all the gear's with you, and you have your camera(s) out. You should shoot a few of them walking into SAC grounds. And the important shot is that of SAC with a clear sky background.

They'll start preparing then. Eating breakfast, dressing up properly (tying hair? etc), then rehearsing.

--IMPORTANT SHOT-- You can't go this close to them once the real thing starts, so you really really really need to shoot details. Also, shoot a nice wide-angle photograph of the booklets there where people sit (you'll know what I'm talking about once you arrive).
Don't spam too much though - other than detail photos, none of these rehearsal photos will actually be published by the school, so it's for social reasons (upload to facebook) and to understand how they're going to walk.
When people start arriving, important shots are:
- Reception counter
- Teachers arriving
- Parents arriving
Apart from the usual stuff, shoot:
From low angles, high angles, etc.
Parents trying to photograph their sons and daughters.
Our teachers / staff.
Each other (it'll be quite sad if nobody has a photograph of you in action!)
When they are praying, shoot. Try to incorporate -everyone- with their heads down, so that people won't think that you're trying to catch them sleeping individually.
When they're walking out, I need two special persons to do the following:
- Seek permission from someone to stand on the bench at the side of the ailse and shoot them walking past like so:

- Stand at/behind this prominent stone place where they'll split and go around, then shoot. You can incorporate the stone into your shot if you want:

Aaaand then the SC will cheer cry scream dance jump and you just keep clicking. It's gonna be fast. Like really fast. Have to put your camera up high and fire blindly etc. Just try.

And then, last group photograph:

After that... I'll have to confirm. There'll be a lunch, but I don't know if you should or want to shoot. Do you all want to? You can eat the buffet lunch so free food after they start eating yeah). I didn't shoot last time.
And then... you all have to come back to school to return my / our gear that you all will share! Haha. Sorry! Seniors will be having some kind of experimental stuff then, so yeah.
